This pacing chart shows easy conversions of min/mile to min/km and min/km to min/mile. Some of us work in miles. Some of us work in metric. And it doesn’t help that different races chop and change their markers depending on the distance. If you’re running a 10k then you will most likely get markers in kilometres, but a marathon will always have mile markers.
Due to the sheer number of people introduced to running through Couch to 5K, we are seeing metrics in km overtaking the more traditional miles.
Either way, you will all have probably had to do some mathematics in your head during your runs, calculating how far is left, and hopefully these race pace conversion charts will give you a quick way of working your pace out… and maybe understanding others when they say how fast they were going.
